Job Overview ">

This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of a grooming business. The ideal candidate will have experience in cutting and shaving furs for dogs and cats, as well as holding a Class B Grooming Certificate.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the grooming business, ensuring all appointments are properly scheduled and equipment is well maintained. ">
  • Perform pet grooming services based on best practices and customer needs, prioritizing safety and hygiene. ">
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to AVA guidelines. ">
  • Highlight any abnormalities or concerns to customers, promoting transparency and avoiding conflicts. ">
  • Provide additional services such as nail clipping, ear cleaning, and trimming or shearing animal coats according to owner specifications. ">
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by management. ">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • ">
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in pet grooming, preferably with dogs and cats. ">
  • A valid Class B Grooming Certificate. ">
  • Strong hand shearing and scissoring skills. ">
  • Comfort working with various breeds and sizes of dogs and cats. ">
  • Effective communication skills. ">
