Direct Entry Captain

SIA is recruiting Direct Entry Captains. To apply, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Possesses a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate, recognized or can be validated by Civil Aviation Authority Singapore (CAAS).
- Holds a valid Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), recognized or can be validated by CAAS. If you are holding a foreign licence, you may check your eligibility through this document.
- Minimum 7000 flying hours, inclusive of 3000 Pilot In Command (PIC) hours on commercial jets in international operations.
- Able to speak and understand English with ICAO English Level 5 or above for inflight radio-telephony communications.
- Minimum height requirement of 1.58m to carry out safety and emergency procedures on board.
Selection Process
Applicants will undergo various stages during the recruitment process including (but not limited to) online application, interviews, simulator assessment, and medical check-up.
Remuneration And Service Benefits
Upon employment, you will enjoy:
- A fixed annual salary package of 13 months.
- Profit-sharing bonus based on the Company's financial performance.
- Variable allowances for productivity, meals, and transport.
- 36 days of annual leave.
- Travel benefits for yourself and eligible family members.
Successful candidates will be placed on either the B747, B787, or B737 fleet.
Training and Bond
Where applicable, successful candidates will be trained to acquire an Aircraft Type Rating. Relevant training bond will be applicable.
