Our client is the leader within the industry and is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Facilities Management to lead the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-performing facilities across their operations. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong operational oversight, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive excellence in both day-to-day facilities management and long-term planning.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the overall facilities management strategy across multiple sites.
Lead a lean team to manage a team of facilities professionals, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance programs, ensuring facilities meet all safety, regulatory, and compliance standards.
Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and performance to ensure value and quality delivery.
Implement sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives to reduce environmental impact and operational costs.
Drive capital projects including refurbishments, fit-outs, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades, from planning to completion.
Monitor and optimize budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising service standards.
Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure facilities strategy aligns with organizational goals.
Requirements
Proven track record in a senior facilities management role, ideally within a multi-site environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage high-performing teams.
In-depth knowledge of facilities operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Fire Safety certificate.
Experience managing budgets, contracts, and external vendors.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to deliver complex initiatives on time and within budget.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Commitment to sustainability and innovation in facilities management.
