About the Team
You will join a team consisting of experienced Developers and QA specialists working on a modern suite of in-house developed enterprise software products. You will be responsible for implementing and executing a standardized test framework in one of the customer-facing applications.
Role
As a Digital QA Specialist, you will work closely with Test Managers, Automation Specialists, and other stakeholders to understand scope, strategy, planning, capacity, and progress reporting. Support digital transformation initiatives to improve performance against operational objectives and quality standards.
Areas of Responsibility
Create the QA/testing environment and test data required for successful software testing, including software and hardware setup for test case execution.
Analyze and review requirements; create and review test scenarios, test cases, and test data for both functional and non-functional requirements.
Execute tests, document results, raise bugs, and create progress and audit reports.
Perform manual and automated tests throughout the software development life cycle.
Continuously evaluate and improve existing QA processes.
Ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations.
Create training materials and operating manuals.
Necessary Qualifications
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role.
Knowledge of STLC & SDLC, and relevant regulatory standards.
Extensive experience in various testing types including functional, integration, performance, system, UAT, sanity, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Hands-on automation testing experience with any programming language.
Knowledge of performance and database testing.
Experience with test management and tracking tools.
Relevant education in Computer Science or equivalent.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Relevant training or certifications in QA.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with unit testing, DevOps, Jenkins, Git, and GitHub.
