Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Recovery Solutions Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end delivery, deployment, and configuration of enterprise backup and recovery projects according to customer requirements and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients to assess business continuity requirements, design tailored backup policies, schedules, and retention strategies aligned with compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of backup solutions.
  • Act as the technical escalation point for complex implementation or recovery challenges across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Deploy and configure enterprise backup solutions such as Avamar, Commvault, Veeam, NetBackup, and Networker, including integration with storage, servers, and virtualization environments.
  • Conduct regular recovery drills, disaster recovery simulations, and compliance audits to validate resilience and adherence to governance frameworks (e.g., MAS TRM, ISO
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in deploying and managing enterprise backup tools (e.g., Avamar, Commvault, Veeam, NetBackup, Networker).
  • Strong understanding of system, storage, and network concepts, with ability to design integrated backup strategies for hybrid environments.
  • Degree / Diploma in IT / Computer Studies or equivalent.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in backup engineering, with exposure to large-scale enterprise or regulated industry environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g., data residency, GDPR, MAS, ISO) is an advantage.
