Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sushi Artisan and Culinary Lead to oversee the sushi counter and manage kitchen staff. This individual must have expertise in Japanese fine dining cuisine and omakase experience.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Kaseiki counter, ensuring high-quality sushi and sashimi are prepared to exacting standards.

• Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

• Control kitchen costs and achieve positive profit and loss (P&L) results.

• Maintain strict safety and hygiene protocols, guaranteeing a clean and healthy work environment.

• Develop and implement effective manpower planning and scheduling strategies to optimize kitchen efficiency.

• Provide exceptional customer service, interacting with customers in fluent Japanese to enhance their dining experience.
Requirements

• Strong background in Japanese fine dining cuisine and omakase experience is essential.

• Ability to communicate fluently in Japanese and English.

• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.

• Ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanor under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
