The ideal candidate will possess strong design concepts, perspective, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for success in this role.

  • Preparation of 2D/3D perspectives or sketches
  • Design and preparation of detailed drawings, design development, and construction documents
  • Making adjustments to drawings according to feedback from engineers or architects
  • Responsible for rendered plans and section elevations, translating concept designs into working documents for all phases of the process
  • Technical and product research & review with design team
  • Attends meeting with the client, consultants, and contractors and make sure that the design intent is met
  • Presentation of design to clients

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or Architecture, with minimum 2-3 years relevant experience. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Vector software (Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator), Photoshop, Sketchup, or MS Office is required.

  • Good knowledge of drawing preparation & organization; familiar with furniture/fabrics/lighting elements, construction materials, details methods & standards
  • Experience in commercial and residential design work projects will be an advantage
  • Able to converse with English and Chinese speaking clients, contractors, and vendors to complete projects effectively
  • Local working experience needed
