Role Overview
The candidate will be part of a team responsible for planning and executing strategies to:
Make radio spectrum available for government and non-government uses to maximize socio-economic benefits from radiocommunication services.
Ensure the efficient and effective use of spectrum to support national goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Spectrum Authorization: Manage applications for spectrum use, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Spectrum Engineering Analysis: Conduct technical studies on spectrum sharing and compatibility.
Border Frequency Coordination: Support cross-border frequency coordination through data analysis and liaising with neighboring administrations.
Radio Engineering Analysis: Provide technical support for spectrum allocations and network deployments in Singapore.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical documents and reports related to spectrum management.
Candidate Requirements
Background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.
Good understanding of radiocommunication principles, spectrum management, and ITU recommendations.
Experience with RF planning tools and spectrum analysis software is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience in spectrum management or RF engineering is beneficial but not mandatory.
