Senior Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities: • Client Engagements: Engage with potential clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and renovation requirements in detail. Maintain clear and open communication with clients throughout the project, collaborate with professionals, and resolve any design issues or conflicts that arise. • Presentation Skills: Prepare and present proposed design concepts, space planning, materials recommendations and tailored solutions using layout plans, 3D renderings to effectively present ideas to clients. • Design Planning: Create bespoke interior design concepts by using mood boards, colour palettes, and material samples, while considering functionality, ergonomics, and space flow when planning layouts to present to clients. • Budget Management: Provide cost estimates to clients, track expenses throughout the project, and make adjustments to the design plan as needed to stay within budget constraints. • Project Management: Oversee the design project from concept to completion, coordinating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure it aligns with the design plan, while managing timelines and keeping the project within budget. • Site Visits and Inspection: Conduct site visits to ensure proper implementation of the design plan, inspect the work for quality and compliance with design specifications, and make any necessary adjustments or corrections on-site. • Industry Insight: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and technology, attend trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars related to interior design, and continuously improve design skills and knowledge. • Sales Generation: Foster business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities. Proactively achieve and surpass sales targets through a strategic approach. Competencies: • Passion for sales and drive to succeed in a rewarding career • Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects. • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering tools, Adobe Creative Suite). • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills. • Strong understanding of materials, space planning, and design trends. • Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets effectively. • Collaborative mindset with problem-solving abilities. Requirements: • Proficient in AutoCAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Kujiale) • Strong understanding of interior design principles and building regulations • Strong knowledge of construction and interior detailing • Able to read, understand and draw architectural and ID detailed elevation section plans • Qualification must be Bachelor in Interior Design / Architecture • At least 2 years of relevant experience
