About the Role:

As a Pastry Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality pastry and dessert items for our customers. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all pastry ingredients with precision and accuracy.
  • Produce a variety of pastries and desserts, including mousse cream, batter, knee tart, pie cookies, and cakes.
  • Layer and decorate pastries and cakes to meet presentation specifications.
  • Follow recipes and presentation guidelines set by the Pastry Chef.
  • Assist in stocktaking of ingredients and products neatly and cleanly.
  • Store and/or package ingredients, utensils, supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing menus and customer preferences.
