Job Scope:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective sourcing of goods and services in line with contract management best practices. Develop strategic partnerships with key vendors to optimize value creation and drive long-term growth.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Vendor Relationship Management
Propose strategic procurement initiatives to drive cost and operational efficiency.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, focusing on quality, reliability, and innovation.
Identify opportunities to improve vendor performance and negotiate agreements to enhance value creation.
Sourcing
Demonstrate good understanding of market trends and purchase requirements in the data center industry, and source accurately and efficiently.
Perform daily procurement activities such as RFP/RFQ, negotiating favorable commercial terms, and providing evaluation and recommendations.
Coordinate administrative matters with work requestors and vendors.
Proactively follow up and close off work matters on time.
Contract Management & Compliance
Draft, review, and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes promptly.
Supplier Risk Management
Assess supplier risk and develop mitigation plans to minimize operational disruptions.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards related to procurement processes.
Performance Analysis, Procurement Reporting
Track and analyze procurement metrics to measure departmental performance.
Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on procurement trends and opportunities.
Training & Others
Train junior team members and other stakeholders.
Perform other duties as reasonably requested by your supervisor or department head.
Job Requirements
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Quantity Surveying, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in Construction, Data Centre, or Network industry procurement departments.
Strong knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management).
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Proactive team player with the ability to work independently and negotiate effectively.
Detail-oriented, analytical, with excellent problem-solving skills and a sense of responsibility and ownership.
