Description **** This role offers the flexibility to be based in either Malaysia or Singapore. ****** Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following: Perform audits, reviews, and compilations of SEC and private clients in various industries including but not limited to commercial markets i.e. manufacturing, technology and consumer products Timely communicate to all members of engagement team and appropriate client personnel Active learning attitude Prepare SEC filings, financial statements, and disclosures for appropriateness in form, content, completeness, and accuracy, and ensures that quarterly reviews are properly performed Keep up to date on U.S. GAAP laws and regulations Stay current on technical and industry developments and standards while evaluating potential impacts on their client engagements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting 0~2 year’ experience in public accounting field Extensive travel to Asia Bi-lingual in English and Mandarin Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently, but also work well with others Preferred Qualifications CPA License or on track to obtain Software Experience - CCH ProSystem, Microsoft Office 365 Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full-time Job function: Accounting/Auditing Industries: Accounting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Marcum Asia CPAs LLP by 2x Get notified about new Audit Associate jobs in Singapore, Singapore .
