We strive to create a supportive community that bridges students' needs with expert guidance, helping them grow and thrive academically and emotionally.Position: Freelance Occupational Therapist (1-to-1) Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate children's fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and overall functional performance. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans that address each child's specific needs and goals. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions focused on improving daily living skills, motor coordination, sensory integration, and play skills. Utilise evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to engage children and promote their participation in daily activities. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and effective strategies are applied across various environments. Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress, adapting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in occupational therapy and special education. Requirements: A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Valid registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore. Previous experience working with children with developmental delays, disabilities, or special needs, particularly in a one-to-one setting. Strong knowledge of child development, sensory integration, and occupational therapy interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach to working with children and their families. Ability to work independently and customize therapy plans based on each child's progress and needs.
