Senior Associate / Associate (Major Law Firm) Job Summary As an Associate / Senior Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, you will be part of a dynamic and experienced practice group handling a wide range of contentious matters. You will work closely with clients, counsel, and regulatory bodies to resolve disputes efficiently and strategically, while leveraging legal technology and AI tools to enhance case preparation and client service. Job Responsibilities To manage all client work allocated by Supervising Partner or other partners. To ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and costs. To exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner at all times. To ensure confidentiality and security of all of the Firm’s and client documentation and information. To achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording. To maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel of the Firm. To ensure good working relationships with external institutions and organizations. To supervise, support and develop immediate support staff. To take responsibility for and attend to self-development. In conjunction with the Firm, to comply with the relevant training requirements of the Law Society and to assist with in‑house training as may be required. Assisting the Senior Counsel in the CBD area. Job Requirements Admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. 5 to 10 years of post‑admission experience in litigation and dispute resolution. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align legal strategy with business objectives. Proven ability to manage multiple complex matters and deliver high‑quality work under pressure and tight deadlines. Excellent international and communications skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels. A collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions‑oriented mindset. AI‑savvy. Comfortable using legal technology and AI tools (e.g., e‑discovery platforms, AI‑assisted legal research, document review software) to enhance litigation strategy, streamline workflows, and improve client outcomes.
