Responsibilities
Manage construction of assigned projects from start of construction to Commercial Operation Date (COD), ensuring compliance with targets in terms of schedule and cost, while fulfilling internal requirements (e.g. HSE).
Track and monitor project schedules and budget, flagging deviations in timing and costing using corporate tools and platforms.
Manage contractors and other third parties to ensure projects run smoothly.
Identify potential risks in terms of construction and progress, flagging them to the senior project manager.
Enforce quality checklists for review or inspection of solar projects.
Manage and interact with clients throughout construction.
Education/Experience
Minimum Higher Nitec / Technical Engineer Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Prior experience in renewable energy or construction, particularly solar PV projects, is advantageous
Requirements
Effective communications with project stakeholders
Strong project management skills with ability to report clearly and concisely
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
Skilled in project management frameworks (e.g. Gantt Chart, Scrum, PMP)
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Helioscope, PVsyst, and SketchUp
