Roles & Responsibilities Job Summary: A COBOL Developer role within a Cash Management & Core Banking environment, focused on developing and maintaining financial system modules. Requires expertise in COBOL, Pro*C, SQL, and banking systems, with exposure to DevOps and cloud-based environments. Mandatory Skill-set: Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent; Must have minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with COBOL and Pro*C; Must have Proficiency in Micro Focus COBOL, C, Shell scripting, and SQL/PL-SQL; Must have experience in Oracle, GitLab, and system integration; Desired Skill-set: General knowledge of banking processes; Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, CI/CD pipelines; Exposure to MQ and CFT; Experience in Lean/Agile environments; Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills; Responsibilities: Analyze functional specifications, prepare technical documentation, and design, code, and test software components; Develop, implement, and test components for core financial modules (Accounts, Expense, Referential, Access Management); Perform software enhancements, upgrades, and validation; Provide Level 3 production support (issue analysis and resolution); Conduct technical design, peer reviews, unit tests, and integration documents; Collaborate with business analysts and engineers to align technical and business requirements; Maintain high standards of quality delivery, propose best practice solutions; Work on concurrent projects ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality outcomes.
