Middleware Integration Engineer

Responsible in project planning and design, design of app infrastructure architecture and deployment. Function as Middleware technology steward and recommend improvements to EAI designs. Define standard product builds, provide oversight in standards adherence through continuous reviews. Function as a technical expert in troubleshooting non-production environment setup issues during validations and environment alignment activities. Communicate with key stakeholders regarding platform system outages, issue resolution, infrastructure changes, and other pertinent matters that impact internal and external customers during the project Plan and coordinating non-production environment application alignment prior to and post releases throughout the project life cycle. Ensure alignment of IT strategy, architecture and planning with execution across the enterprise Middleware platform & IT systems. Define product and integration standard for application teams to use the Enterprise Service Bus. Automate standard build patterns. Define capacity and availability parameters and assist with identifying performance tuning parameters within standards. Identify and propose enhancements for Infra team process gaps and focus on streamlined processes/automation for efficient deployment of application environments. Build and deployment of new Development, UAT and Production environments. Create integration design for Middleware projects that include infrastructure details, major application flows/sequences and failover designs. Based on application/data flows and requirements, ensure documentation captures all required infrastructure (server, messaging, data, network) change needed for a project. Responsible to be the technical interface between the application teams and the infrastructure operation team during the plan and build phases of the environment management process. Ensure environment validations are completed according to application development needs throughout multiple phases of the application SDLC. Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science or any other related discipline from a recognize education institution. Excellent experience in Middleware infrastructure setup, deployment and operation. Planned, Designed and Implemented on at least one major Middleware integration project. Strong knowledge of infrastructure/environment components (Middleware, policy servers, monitoring, environmental properties) and the integration into application architecture. Strong code analysis skills (scripting language experience with automating tasks and troubleshooting interconnected components). .NET & JAVA application setup and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment including setup of debuggers, parsing of trace logs. Experience with setting up high-availability systems like web farms, application servers, and DB clusters. Experience with networking, security and application load balancing using F5/BigIP. Experience with SDLC technologies, process, and workflow. Ability to create application architectural logical and physical diagrams. Must be well-versed in modern RESTful service principles and standards, to include many of the following: resource orientation in service contracts, usage of HAL/HATEOAS and other techniques, JSON representation, modelling standards like RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI. This position also requires solid expertise designing and using SOAP-based services (WSDL, XSD, XML, other X-dialects like XSLT, XPATH, XQUERY). Deep experience in Enterprise Architecture and SOA patterns. Experience with configuration management (i.e., release management, inventory management, migration, version control, change control, etc.). Experience working in the software development and delivery life cycle. Experience or working knowledge of scripting languages UNIX shell scripts and/or PowerShell.
