Qualifications & experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Proven experience in financial management within the construction sector. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite. (E.g ERP-Synergix)Immediate/Short Notice Preferred Tasks & responsibilities Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives. Analyze market trends, project costs, and financial risks to provide actionable insights. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. Monitor and report on budget variances, providing proactive solutions to optimize financial performance. Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports for executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Cost Management: Implement effective cost control measures to optimize project profitability. Collaborate with project managers to track and analyze project costs, identifying areas for improvement. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow effectively, ensuring the availability of funds for project milestones. Implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and maximize liquidity. Financial Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant financial regulations and standards in the construction industry.
