Role and Responsibilities Define and maintain enterprise architecture practices, standards, and roadmaps aligned with business and digital transformation goals. Lead architectural governance and ensure alignment across business units and technology domains. Drive and oversee the planning and design of major system components and changes and ensure business requirements and objectives are met with emphasis on security, scalability, performance and cost effectiveness. Ensure high security standards are being employed across all projects. Lead and design data engineering processes and practices, drive modernization of data pipelines towards integration with AI, ML and other modern data processing technologies. Study and apply knowledge from shipping and logistics domains. Engage and consult with stakeholders including internal entities within the company and external entities including vendors and business partners. Requirements Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in SW architecture or senior technical leadership roles. Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architecture. Strong expertise in service oriented, distributed computing, and event-driven architecture. Deep knowledge of data architecture, DevOps, security, and AI/ML platforms. Experience designing integration frameworks for internal and external systems. Familiarity with maritime technologies, standards, and operational systems is a strong plus. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification. Confluent Certified Developer or Architect for Apache Kafka. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). CISSP or equivalent security certification. Experience in Maritime industry, particularly in container shipping and logistics, will be advantageous.
