Responsibilities
Driving complex, cross-functional projects from incubation to execution. Define goals and success metrics, align across functions (including product managers, engineers, and content experts), assemble taskforces, track progress, and ensure timely delivery with high quality.
Collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to design, test, and refine operational processes. Identify bottlenecks, implement quality and productivity experiments, and contribute to scalable solutions.
Analyze operational and model training data to derive actionable insights for stakeholders and support model training.
Gain hands-on experience in data production workflows for LLM training, including drafting, revising, and quality-checking data, to understand the critical role human input plays in machine learning.
Become a domain expert in one or more content verticals (such as creative writing, coding, math, science) or data formats, and independently deliver high-quality outputs.
Lead or support cross-domain operational improvement initiatives to optimize processes and scale high-quality data generation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Strong professional communication skills in English
Strong professional communication skills in Chinese Mandarin, to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders in Mandarin-speaking markets
Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional, and cross-regional projects, especially involving collaboration between product managers, engineers, and content teams
Strong analytical mindset: comfortable working with data to identify patterns, generate insights, and inform decision-making
Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous, and experiment-driven environments, with a high degree of adaptability and ownership
Excellent project execution skills, including meeting tight deadlines, juggling multiple workstreams, and proactively solving problems through tools and process optimization
Preferred Qualifications
Academic background in a STEM discipline (engineering, mathematics, computer science) or in a quantitative/analytical non-STEM field (sociology, statistics, economics)
3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in internet or technology industry; experience in project management, operations, or data-related roles strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with LLM data workflows, such as annotation, quality analysis, or data evaluation
Strong interest in AI, LLMs, and human-computer interaction, with a passion for learning, experimentation, and cross-team collaboration
