Overview The Wintel L2 Engineer is responsible for providing intermediate-level support and administration for Windows-based systems hosted in cloud and hybrid environments. This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects, resolve incidents, and implement changes in accordance with ITIL practices. Responsibilities Provide Level 2 support for Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) in cloud and hybrid setups. Patch management and Vulnerability Management for VMware &Windows servers . Knowledge in the VMware infra setup such as installing, configuring and managing for VMware ESXi and vCenter and hardening. Troubleshooting skills in OS & VMware related issues Knowledge of Cloud administration in Azure services, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability Conduct regular system health checks and capacity planning to anticipate and address potential bottlenecks. To remediate the security findings for Web Penetration, Infra Penetration and VMS based on Security report. Familiarity with IIS, and Microsoft Active Directory Monitor and maintain agreed Service level, document, regularly update system configuration, and provide comprehensive report to relevant part on a regular basis. Assist in backup and recovery operations using enterprise tools. Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes. Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Knowledge of Citrix administration skill is value added Work Experience and Certification Min 5 years of experience in Windows server administration . Strong understanding of On-perm &cloud infrastructure (Azure)and virtualization (VMWare) . Hands on with Azure is good to have. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation. Familiarity with monitoring tools (SolarWinds). Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management practices. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Relevant certifications – MCSA, Azure Administrator, VMware VCP. #J-18808-Ljbffr
