SCHOOL FACILITIES CLEANER JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience as a cleaner, janitor or housekeeping staff (preferred but not required). Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment use. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good time management and organizational skills. Reliability, responsibility, and attention to detail. JOB DETAILS: Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, libraries, laboratories, and other school facilities. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures. Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal and recycling practices. Clean windows, glass panels, and doors regularly. Refill supplies (e.g., hand soap, toilet paper, hand sanitizer). Disinfect high-touch areas such as doorknobs, railings, and switches. Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Facilities Supervisor. Follow cleaning schedules to ensure areas are maintained throughout the day. Operate cleaning equipment safely and report malfunctions. Support in setting up or cleaning after school events and activities.
