**Job Overview**

Clinical Associates are integral to our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive hospital experience. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Associate to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct daily clinical rounds, clinics or visits in assigned areas by reviewing patients' conditions and ordering necessary treatments and investigations.
  • Attend to new admissions or referrals by reviewing patients' referral notes, taking comprehensive histories, performing physical examinations, and interviewing family members (as appropriate).
  • Carry out rounds with visiting consultants and consider/carry out their recommendations as appropriate.
  • Perform clinical procedures such as suturing, venepuncture, setting up IV lines, and catheterization.
  • Participate in Patient Care Conferences (multidisciplinary meetings) and contribute to multidisciplinary care and/or discharge planning of patients.
  • Attend to emergencies in assigned areas.
  • Do exit rounds (in-patient setting) and hand over to the doctor on-call.
  • Cover duties of other doctors when on night duty and during their leave.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Possess a Medical Degree recognized by and fully/conditionally/temporarily registered with the Singapore Medical Council, with relevant post-graduate training in Internal, Rehabilitation, Geriatric, Palliative, and Family Medicine.
  • Basic post-graduate medical degree acceptable as specialist qualification, e.g. Member of Royal College of Physician and Masters in Family Medicine.
  • Possess 2 to 8 years of post-qualification experience.
