SATS Food Solutions serves airlines and institutions, operating central kitchens with large‐scale food production and distribution capabilities for a wide range of cuisines. Job Description The Manager, Cabin Handling will oversee the cabin services operations for the SATS Inflight Catering Centre (SICC) 1 and 2, ensuring timely transportation and uplift of inflight catering meals, supplies, and equipment to aircraft in accordance with flight schedules. Key Responsibilities Oversee the efficient running of cabin handling operations for SICC 1 and 2. Establish and review procedures and work processes to meet operational changes and customer requirements. Monitor process compliance and drive process improvements. Plan, manage and control the section to work effectively and efficiently. Monitor the availability of GSEs to ensure smooth operations. Ensure a safe working environment for all staff in the section. Oversee airside safety and security matters related to transportation and uplifting. Monitor, evaluate, and enhance staff performance, including setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and recognising achievements. Inculcate good staff discipline, including implementing fair but firm disciplinary measures when necessary. Maintain and enhance positive workplace harmony and staff morale. Monitor and control operating costs, including overtime costs and transportation claims, while ensuring high levels of efficiency and productivity. Build strong working relationships with cabin executives, employees and heads of other departments to ensure maximum integrated operating effectiveness. Maintain a positive and professional approach with co‐workers and customers. Key Requirements Relevant experience in cabin operations or a similar field. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to drive process improvements and cost optimisation initiatives. Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills. Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively. Good decision‐making, problem‐solving and communication skills.
