Electrochemical Specialist

The position involves designing, fabricating, and characterizing electrochemical sensors for biomedical diagnostics, with a focus on hormone detection and point-of-care systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sensor fabrication, analytical chemistry, and electrochemical techniques.
Key Responsibilities
">- Design and develop electrochemical sensors for hormone detection, including surface functionalization and performance testing
- Perform laboratory validation using appropriate analytical methods and tools
- Apply advanced electrochemical techniques such as Chronoamperometry, Cyclic Voltammetry, and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sensors into point-of-care diagnostic platforms
- Contribute to the development of sensors for cortisol detection, with an emphasis on related biomarkers
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, and prepare technical reports and publications
Qualifications and Requirements
">- PhD in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- Strong background in analytical chemistry and electrodeposition techniques
- Familiarity with clinical biomarkers and diagnostic workflows
- Experience with hormone detection, particularly cortisol, is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
