We are seeking an experienced DevOps leader to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish overarching strategies for DevOps and Quality Assurance, ensuring alignment and continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Create business-specific quality measurement frameworks, develop metrics, reports, and dashboards to track improvement, and report on quality-related outcomes to leadership.
  • Implement strategies to improve test efficiency and reduce test cycle time through standardized test cases, data, automation, and code/test coverage analysis.
  • Provide expert guidance to the testing team on designing and implementing testing tasks.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor the team to meet performance targets, fostering a high-performance environment.
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies for DevOps, facilitate automated testing throughout the lifecycle, embed risk-based testing, and maintain cloud resources (preferably AWS) for test workloads and cloud-native initiatives. This includes maintaining on-premise Kubernetes clusters and DevOps tools.
  • Enforce corporate and department standards, policies, and guidelines within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in DevOps and/or Quality Assurance, with a significant portion in a leadership role on large-scale projects.
  • Strong practical knowledge of software testing concepts, quality standards and procedures, and relevant DevOps tools and practices.
  • Proficient in various SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and process management.
  • Test analyst skills, including writing high-quality test specifications (plans, cases, scripts, data) based on accurate business requirements, and the ability to perform root cause analysis for issue resolution.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps/CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus, SonarQube) and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
  • Experience in implementing container solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting test environments, diagnosing and resolving issues, and utilizing tools like JIRA and Confluence for reporting, categorizing, and tracking issues.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as a strong self-starter while also collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, build consensus, and cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Certifications in Software Quality Assurance, Cloud (AWS preferred), or experience with Application Security scanning tools are a plus.
