Role Summary:

Procurement Specialist

A highly skilled Procurement Specialist is required to manage and optimize the procurement process for electrical components and systems.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials and services.

  • Commercial Management: Oversee commercial operations to meet delivery, cost, and quality goals.
  • Value Engineering: Implement best-in-class sourcing and lean manufacturing practices to drive cost reduction.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Expedite component suppliers and manage material shortages to support on-time delivery.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve and de-escalate issues, driving necessary improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work independently with global teams to achieve goals.

For this role, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory. 2-3 years of experience in Electronic Manufacturing Services/Contract Manufacturing management, Manufacturing/Engineering Operations, or Planning/Purchasing/Sourcing management is preferred. Strong knowledge in EMS/CM management, manufacturing processes, demand/supply planning, and logistics is required. Comprehensive knowledge in the Electronics Electrical category is essential.
