OT Technician Role
As an Operating Theatre Technician, you play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and ensuring equipment is safe and effective.
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up surgical instruments and equipment before procedures to ensure seamless operations.

• Sterilize equipment to maintain a high standard of hygiene and prevent infection.

• Transport patients safely between the Operating Theatre and Recovery Bay to minimize risk of complications.

• Assist medical staff during operations with positioning and draping to optimize patient care.

• Manage waste disposal and maintain a clean environment to promote a healthy working space.

• Check and maintain operating theatre equipment and supplies to guarantee optimal performance.
Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in Operating Theatre Practice or related healthcare field to demonstrate expertise.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a surgical setting to develop skills and confidence.

• Knowledge of surgical instruments, endoscopy systems, and sterilization techniques to perform tasks effectively.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills to work collaboratively and efficiently.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and deliver results.
