As a Welding Inspector cum QA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of the manufacturing processes at Wong Hing Long Technologies Pte Ltd, a leading provider of innovative engineering solutions. This full‐time position is based in the Hougang North‐East Region and will involve overseeing and inspecting welding operations to maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance. What you'll be doing Conducting thorough inspections of welding work to identify and resolve any issues or non‐conformances. Implementing quality control measures and procedures to monitor the welding process and finished products. Preparing detailed reports on the status of production, quality, and any necessary corrective actions. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to identify and implement process improvements. Ensuring all welding activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies. Providing guidance and training to welders and other production staff on quality best practices. Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to quality assurance and control. What we're looking for Proven experience as a Welding Inspector or Quality Assurance professional within a manufacturing and engineering environment. Strong technical knowledge of welding processes, quality standards, and inspection techniques. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, such as those related to workplace safety and product quality. Excellent attention to detail and problem‐solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues. Ability to work collaboratively with cross‐functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels. Strong analytical and reporting skills to document findings and drive continuous improvement. Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Engineering or a professional welding/quality certification.
