Job Description:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of printing staff across shifts.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of print jobs.
Inspect printed materials for quality assurance and ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment to minimize downtime.
Train new employees on printing processes, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain inventory of printing supplies and place orders as needed.
Implement and enforce safety and cleanliness standards in the printing area.
Prepare reports on production output, quality issues, and staff performance.
Ensure 5S is well maintain and workplace safety SOP is observed at all time
Work with Quality Assurance (QA) department to provide root cause analysis and preventive action for quality non-conformance
Requirements:
Min 3 years' experience work as Supervisor or section head in a printing plant/Min 5 years' experience work as lead/senior operating in Sheetfed printing.
Well verse in prepress to print workflow is a must
Must be familiar with operating common sheetfed printing press brands eg. MITSUBISHI, RYOBI MHI, Heidelberg, ManRoland, KBA, Komori.
Candidate with hands on experience in managing Forgra PSO certification or possess a G7 certificate will be an advantage.
Able to work shift.
