About the role
Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding career in retail? Happy Minimart Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated Sales Assistant to join our team in the Changi East Region. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of our thriving minimart.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Accurately operating the cash register and handling financial transactions
  • Restocking shelves and maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the store
  • Providing recommendations and advice to customers on products and services
  • Actively participating in inventory management and loss prevention efforts
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing retail role, preferably in the convenience store or minimart industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Excellent numeracy and cash handling skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
  • A passion for the retail industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding results
