Job Opening for Medical Transport Driver
We are seeking a professional and caring medical transport driver to provide safe and reliable transportation services.
- The ideal candidate will adhere to company training and Standard Operational Procedures (SOP).
- A patient-centric approach is essential, with a focus on following safe systems of work and using equipment such as stretchers, carry chairs, wheelchairs, clamps, and seat belts.
- Accurate completion of paperwork is mandatory, including CODs collected, and it must be returned to base at the end of each shift.
- Risk assessments will be conducted regularly to identify potential hazards and implement safe systems of work.
- Vehicles and equipment must be inspected daily, with any defects or deficiencies reported promptly.
Requirements:
- A valid Class 3/3A Singapore driving license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
- Physical fitness and ability to assist patients in and out of the vehicle when needed.
- A willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- A pleasant personality with a strong passion for helping people, including the elderly and patients with mobility challenges.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact respectfully and patiently with clients, caregivers, and medical personnel.
- Prior ambulance or medical transport (MTS) driving experience is an added advantage.
- A clean driving record is essential.
