Overview The National University of Singapore invites applications for the Research Assistant (Admin - Infectious Disease Translational Research Program, IDTRP) in the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Appointments are made on a 1-Year contract basis, with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities Organizing and coordinating events such as conferences, seminars, and research meetings. Arranging visits, including scheduling, logistics, and itinerary planning. Maintaining and updating the program's website to ensure content is up to date. Designing publicity materials such as flyers and posters for seminars and events. Managing travel arrangements for visitors. Liaising with vendors for transportation, catering, and other event-related services. Overseeing the maintenance, calibration, and proper functioning of shared equipment. Coordinating the procurement of laboratory consumables and equipment to support research activities. Assisting with other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Qualifications A recognized Bachelor's degree. Prior experience in event coordination is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in website content updates and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint, Photoshop) is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with vendors, researchers, and stakeholders. A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, capable of working both independently and within a team.
