Contract Management Role

This is a senior contract management role that oversees the tendering process for construction projects from pre-tender to post-tender stages.

  • The successful candidate will lead and manage the tendering process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tenders.
  • They will review and analyze contract terms, conditions, and tender documents to identify risks and opportunities.
  • The contract manager will coordinate with project, design, and procurement teams to prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.
  • Negotiations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors will be led by this person to secure favorable contract terms.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, contractual, and company policies will be a key responsibility.
  • Strategic advice will be provided to senior management on tendering strategies and cost control.

Requirements

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in contract management/tendering within the construction industry is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts, and tendering processes is essential.
  • A proven track record in leading successful tender bids is required.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills are necessary.
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail is required.
