Targets and Responsibilities
To keep up with procedures and standards set for QHSE Department
Ensure QHSE compliance with statutory and internal requirements and targets
Lead QHSE programs and promote Safety & Wellbeing as one of the Company’s core values
Oversee the development, implementation, improvement, and facilitation of health, safety, security, environmental, and quality training materials and programs
Work closely with management/stakeholders in the company to ensure all services/operations are in compliance with all relevant authorities’ requirements, including but not limited to SCDF, BCA, NEA, MOM, FSB, JTC, etc.
Schedule programs for building equipment to ensure that they are inspected/tested to meet authorities’ requirements and ensure minimum disruption to operations.
Main Tasks
Implement and maintain the Company’s Workplace QHSE Management System
Assist the organization in identifying and assessing any foreseeable risks arising from the workplace or work processes
Recommend reasonably practicable measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at work
Demonstrate excellent environmental and safety behavior and attitude, follow regulatory practices and rules, recognize and promote hazard and risk reporting
Conduct Hazard and Risk Assessments to proactively identify areas of opportunity and develop and implement actions to eliminate or mitigate hazards and risks within the organization
Maintain records of internal QHSE audits, risk management systems, and non-conformance prevention & correction/compliance
Initiate and maintain comprehensive accident, emergency response, and injury management programs
Investigate and report on incidents, complaints, and other situations as they arise
Ensure that the organization is duly diligent in the administration of QHSE programs and that employees are properly trained and supervised to perform their duties
Provide leadership and motivate all employees for injury prevention and timely reporting
Regularly monitor and review the effectiveness of workplace QHSE management system implementation
Liaise with authorities, vendors, and contractors to ensure all building services works are done at the most competitive price and scheduled in compliance with authorities’ requirements without unplanned disruption to operations
Implement preventive maintenance programs for building equipment to ensure that they are performing to required standards or legal requirements
Assist the building fire safety manager in conducting tabletop exercises and fire drills
Engage in any other activities within capacity as requested and delegated by the Head of Department
Key Competencies
Relevant diploma or certification in workplace safety and health and quality management
Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 (internal auditor training will be advantageous)
Self-motivated team player
Good communication skills
Good competency with using Microsoft applications (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
