Description About the Role We are seeking a skilled Data Recovery Specialist with extensive hands‑on experience using PC-3000 data recovery systems from ACELab . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data recovery processes from damaged or failed storage media including HDDs, SSDs, and flash memory devices . This role involves diagnosing hardware and firmware issues, performing logical and physical data recovery, and maintaining detailed records of all recovery activities. Key Responsibilities Perform data recovery operations using PC-3000 hardware and software tools. Diagnose and repair firmware, electronic, and logical faults on various storage devices. Work with a range of storage technologies — including SATA, NVMe, USB, RAID arrays, and encrypted drives. Conduct cleanroom‑level operations (if applicable) for physical drive repairs such as head swaps and platter transfers. Document recovery procedures, maintain case logs, and ensure chain‑of‑custody compliance. Evaluate and test new data recovery methods, tools, and firmware updates. Communicate technical findings and recovery results clearly to both technical and non‑technical clients. Uphold strict confidentiality and data protection standards. Qualifications & Experience Proven experience with PC-3000 (by ACELab) — HDD, SSD, or Flash editions. Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in data recovery, computer forensics, or related fields. Strong understanding of file systems (NTFS, FAT, exFAT, HFS+, APFS, EXT, etc.). Experience with cleanroom operations and micro‑soldering is a plus. Familiarity with tools such as DeepSpar, MRT, R‑Studio, and Atola is advantageous. Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, or IT preferred (or equivalent hands‑on experience). Soft Skills Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Detail‑oriented and methodical approach to data recovery. Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
