Lead - Product Development
Our client is looking for an experienced Product Development Specialist with a strong background in food science and proven leadership skills to drive high-quality product innovation and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor the product development team by providing training and coaching to enhance their skills.
  • Manage the full product development lifecycle with focus on raw material selection and optimization for instant noodles and beverages.
  • Develop and execute strategies to deliver high-quality products that align with customer needs and market trends.
  • Conduct product testing and provide expert guidance on raw material functionality to ensure optimal taste, texture and nutrition.
  • Collaborate with external partners including suppliers and manufacturers to represent the company in raw material sourcing and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Nutrition or a related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product development with demonstrated success in leading and managing teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of raw materials for instant noodles and beverages such as flours, starches, fats, oils, flavors and sweeteners.
  • Solid grasp of product development techniques and best practices.
  • Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
