The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), College of Science (Co S) at NTU seeks outstanding candidates to apply for a tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor with a research focus in clinical and translational studies in acupuncture and integrative healthcare. We encourage applications from candidates with solid research experience and a strong track record of grants and publications in the areas of cancer, metabolic syndrome, and mental disorders.
The successful candidate will establish and maintain an independent extramurally funded research program and is expected to show a strong commitment to departmental undergraduate and graduate mentoring and teaching.
The appointee will be involved in Chinese Medicine services, teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, supervision of research postgraduate students, and conducting research in relevant areas.
Requirements:
Rich experience in Chinese medicine clinical practice and teaching.
A proven track record of high-quality research in the discipline as measured by impactful publications, supervision of research postgraduate students, and cross-disciplinary collaborations.
Strong commitment to Chinese Medicine education, with interests in pursuing innovations in pedagogy and curriculum design.
Proficiency in both Chinese and English.
Qualifications:
A recognized undergraduate degree in Chinese Medicine registrable with the TCM Practitioners Board Singapore.
The candidate must hold a relevant Ph D, e.g. in Chinese Medicine, Public health.
