Manufacturing Engineer

Description The primary role of the Engineering function is to apply advanced skills and knowledge of the manufacturing engineering discipline to develop and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, facilities, and documents, in order to meet current and future production volume, quality, OHS, and cost requirements. Key deliverables include conducting prototyping and verification activities to determine the feasibility and suitability of a design, and assisting in the development, execution, and testing of new and existing products. Responsibilities Implement manufacturing processes, equipment, facilities, and documentation to meet production volumes. Resolve technical issues while following OH&S guidelines. Represent Manufacturing while working closely with Product Development to ensure robust, manufacturable products. Introduce and maintain production procedures, provide training on new equipment, processes, and procedures. Complete process validation activities and documentation. Identify and implement quality and efficiency measures, including GMP, Six‑Sigma, and LEAN improvement actions. Perform work in a specialized area that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles, and concepts; typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience. Perform routine professional-based activities early in the career. Contribute to and manage projects during mid‑career stages. Provide advice and direction in primary areas of expertise as a specialist or expert. Leverage professional expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results as a principal. Build productive internal and external working relationships. Occasionally lead the work of project teams and formally train junior staff. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 5 years of related experience. Developed professional expertise and applied company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Preferred Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and implement effective solutions.
