SEO & Content Strategist (On-Page Focus, AI-Assisted)Own on-page SEO strategy and AI-assisted content production. You'll create high-quality articles using AI tools (with strong human editing), optimise pages end-to-end (from keyword intent to internal linking and schema), and drive measurable organic growth. Key responsibilities & strategy & planning Build an on-page SEO roadmap aligned to business goals and search intent (top/middle/bottom funnel). Create keyword/topic clusters, content calendars, and page-level optimisation plans. AI-assisted content creation Draft articles with AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Semush, etc) using clear prompts, outlines, and brand tone guides. Turn briefs into first drafts via AI; human-edit for accuracy, structure, EEAT, and originality . Run fact-checks, citation insertion, and plagiarism checks; ensure claims are supported and sources recorded. Produce variations of titles, meta descriptions, and intros; A/B test where applicable. On-page optimisation Map keywords to pages; optimise H1‐H6, copy, entities, images/alt text, internal links, anchor text. Implement page templates, content modules, and FAQ sections to capture related queries. Own technical‐adjacent on‐page elements: schema markup (FAQ/HowTo/Article), canonical tags, indexation directives, and Core Web Vitals collaboration with Engineering (no deep technical SEO required). Define and maintain internal linking frameworks across hubs/spokes/pillars. Content operations Write clear content briefs (audience, angle, SERP analysis, outline, sources, CTAs). Maintain style guide, tone of voice, and glossaries; enforce AI safety/quality guardrails. Create and maintain SOPs for prompting, editing, fact-checking, and approvals. Work with Design on visuals and with Dev/CMS on publishing workflows. Measurement & iteration Use GSC/GA4 to track impressions, CTR, ranking, traffic, and conversions. Run on‐page experiments (title/meta/Header changes, layout, FAQs); document learnings. Produce monthly insights and next‐step recommendations per cluster/page type. Required skills & experience 3+ years in SEO/content with proven on‐page results (case studies or examples). Expert in keyword research, SERP/intent analysis, content structuring, and internal linking. Hands‐on with AI writing workflows: prompt design, outline generation, AI draft editing, hallucination/fact‐check controls. Strong writing and editing skills (clarity, logic, brand tone), plus basic HTML/CMS familiarity (e.g., WordPress/Webflow/Headless CMS). Comfortable with schema generators/validators, and Core Web Vitals basics. Data‐driven, fluent with GSC/GA4 and content optimisation tools. Nice to have Experience with Grammarly. Basic image editing and creation using AI tools for article assets; familiarity with programmatic SEO templates. Industry knowledge relevant to your niche (to strengthen EEAT).
