Employment Type: Full-time Level: Mid to Senior-Level We’re Hiring: Global Transportation Manager Location: Singapore About the Role We are seeking a strategic and results‐driven Global Transportation Manager to oversee and optimize our international transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in logistics and global freight management, with strong analytical, leadership, and problem‐solving skills to ensure timely, cost‐effective, and compliant movement of goods worldwide. You will manage transportation planning, execution, and performance across multiple regions, while building strong relationships with carriers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement global transportation strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and service levels. Manage international freight operations, including ocean, air, and ground transportation. Select and negotiate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners. Monitor transportation KPIs, performance metrics, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth logistics execution. Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and service enhancement. Oversee transportation budgets, contracts, and reporting. Manage a team of transportation professionals and foster development and performance excellence. Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. 7–10 years of experience in global transportation, logistics, or supply chain management. Proven ability to manage international freight operations and vendor relationships. Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of customs regulations, international shipping practices, and compliance standards. Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Must have the legal right to work in Singapore.
