Roles & Responsibilities Good chemical plant DCS operati on knowledge to control process parameters for plant start up, normal operation and plant shutdown. Apply chemical plant operation knowledge to follow documented procedures (e.g. Standard operating procedure-SOP, EHS regulations, risk assessment). Closely monitor DCS (Distributed control system) for alarm s, analyze the deviation and respond according to documented process adjustment steps. Given instruction to shift technician in the field, to ensure close coordination and clear communication between DCS action and field action, to prevent mis-operation. To demonstrate strong ownership, team spirit, challenge and sincerity. Able to operate the process to meet the conditions specified in manuals/instructions Able to operate the process equipments at site in accordance with operation plan. Take measures to improve production status and equipment performance on productivity and quality after approval of shift senior technician Patrol plant process, confirm the condition of process and equipments and report disordered matter to senior shift technicians. Prepare and organised patrol records. Take a sampling for analysis of products and process evaluation. Report all incidents, near misses, deviation from plan and take part in further investigation when required. Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning, and participate in maintenance activities and shutdown/start-up of sections.
