This is a key role that manages the end-to-end investment process. The responsibilities include originating potential deals, structuring and executing deals, and contributing to maximizing risk-adjusted investment returns for the business.
Key Responsibilities
Source and analyze investment opportunities
Responsible for structuring and executing acquisitions of data centre assets in Asia Pacific and Europe
Conduct financial modelling to assess/support acquisitions; present analysis to stakeholders
Coordinate legal, tax, technical & financial due diligence with advisers/consultants
Prepare investment papers, presentations, and other materials
Review legal documents
Conduct sector research on market trends and news, including analysis of financial and market reports from sources like Bloomberg, Data Center Dynamics, etc.
Job Requirements
Degree in Business, Real Estate Management, or equivalent from a reputable university
Experience in investment management, private equity, funds management, or investment banking
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including investment/financial/commercial due diligence
Knowledge of data centre technical aspects is advantageous
Strong report writing, verbal, financial modelling, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
