Job Title: Middleware Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Middleware Specialist, where you will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality middleware services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support global production service operations for middleware technologies and platforms.
  • Ensure overall service reliability, availability, and stability of technical scopes.
  • Provide technical expert support for managed workloads, including analyzing and resolving incidents, problems, service requests, and change process management.
  • Partner with development, project, and business teams to understand requirements and technical specifications to participate in project deliverables activities.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement for the production environment through automation or manual work and performance hygiene.
  • Work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
  • Engage in several DevOps disciplines, namely CI/CD, Continuous Test, Continuous Monitoring, and Continuous Compliance.
  • Operate and further develop middleware platforms and associated interfaces.
  • Develop self-service interfaces and their workflows.
  • Exercise specialist responsibility in strategic projects and initiatives.

Qualifications and Profile:

  • Minimum Bachelors in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience.
  • Middleware Technologies: Websphere, Jboss, Wildfly, Tomcat, Apache, Kafka.
  • Container Platforms: Docker/Kubernetes (Good to have).
  • Operating Systems: Linux, Unix and/or Windows.
  • Monitoring and Data analytics tools: Nagios, OMI, ServiceNow, Geneos.
  • Scripting tools: Java, Unix Shell, Bash, Python, PowerShell.
  • Good understanding of ITIL Service Management framework such as Incident, Problem, and Change processes.
  • Experience in Jenkins, Ansible, Elastic Search, Rundeck, GIT, Cloud Services (AWS, GCP).
  • Able to work on shift and with on-call support on rotation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and logical skills.
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED AND A STRONG TEAM PLAYER.

  • DevOps engineering experience.
  • Experience working in the banking / financial institution.
