Security Systems Project Lead

Job Description:

As a Security Systems Project Lead, you will be responsible for the management of assigned projects in security systems. Your primary goal is to implement installation, testing and commissioning of the security systems as per customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned projects from start to finish.
  • Implement installation, testing and commissioning of security systems according to customer requirements.
  • Attend site meetings to monitor project status.
  • Liaise with Architects, Consultants, Main Contractors, Interior Designers, etc. to provide feedback on project progress and technical compliance.
  • Procure materials and deliver them to site in a timely manner.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers on operational use of installed security systems.
  • Ensure subcontractors perform work according to approved drawings and instructions.
  • Update shop drawings, floor plan drawings and single line diagrams before handing over to Maintenance Department.
  • Respond to and manage customer feedback/complaints and take corrective/preventive action.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, forecasts, technical problems encountered, etc.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related fields with 2 years of working experience.
  • Excellent project and people management skills.
  • Hands-on project execution and management experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of IP data networks.
