The Opportunity:
We are looking for Senior Staff Nurse/ Nurse Clinician – Specialty Care (Wound and stoma) to join us for various disciplines to provide high quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
The incumbent shall be responsible to:
Provide support to clinical areas in managing complex wounds and stoma
Provide clinical expert knowledge to patient
Support the patients and carer with complex wounds and stoma
Be accountable for assessment, planning and delivery of all aspect of patient care with complex wounds/stoma
Provide supportive care to assist patient living with complex wounds/stoma ensuring that care is personalised and the holistic needs of patient are met
Provide inpatient/outpatient/ community hospital support to patients
Provide education and training, clinical advice and support to patients, relatives and hospital staff
Act as a resource for management of patients with complex wounds to the clinical setting
Comply with the hospital mission, vision and core values
Job Requirements:
Degree in Nursing or State Registered Nurse certificate
Relevant Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent is preferred for candidate applying for the Senior Staff Nurse position.
Recognised Wound care qualification is needed for Nurse Clinician position
Minimum 5 years in clinical practice with 3 years inpatient setting
Experience in managing complex wounds is added advantage
Good interpersonal and communication skills
