Cloud Security Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms.

Job Description:

This role requires expertise in cloud architecture combined with security-first DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and industry-leading tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the integration of security practices throughout the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless collaboration between development and security teams.
  • Implement automated security testing and compliance monitoring within the development lifecycle, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based security solutions, driving innovation and improvement in cloud security posture.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring in cloud security best practices, promoting a culture of security awareness and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevSecOps roles, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, secure cloud solutions.
  • Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, with a deep understanding of their respective security features and capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), monitoring tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana), and security frameworks (ISO 27001, CIS).
