Job Description
Roles Responsibilities:-
SAP SD consultant provides expertise in all aspects of SAP Sales Distribution (SD) modules along with integration points with Material Management (MM), Logistics Execution (LE), and Financial Accounting (FI).
Facilitate the support and maintenance of SAP SD areas.
Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients needs.
Design, customize, configure and testing of SD.
Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.
Document functional designs, test cases and results.
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.
Desired Skills:
SAP SD: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution modules, including pricing, order management, and billing.
Master Data: Understanding and management of master data related to sales processes.
Logistics: Knowledge of logistics processes within SAP SD.
Delivery Types: Familiarity with different delivery types and their impact on order fulfillment.
Credit Management: Familiarity with credit management processes within SAP SD.
FI (Financial Accounting): Awareness of financial integration points within SAP SD.
IDOC: Understanding of IDOCs (Intermediate Documents) for data exchange between systems
Desired Experience:
Overall 12+ years of SAP SD experience, including
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
Minimum of 5 years designing and configuring SD modules.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset.
Understanding of accounting business processes.
Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective.
Must be resourceful, adaptable, flexible and have a can-do attitude.
Relevant degree such as Bachelors or Masters Degree in, Computer Science, Business/Administration, Business, Engineering, Information Technology.
Certifications(Good to have):
SAP Certified Application Associate - Sales and Distribution, ERP 6.0 EhP7;
SAP Certified Application Professional - Sales and Distribution, ERP 6.0 EhP6, etc.
