Job Title: Senior Construction Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our site supervision team on all Mechanical and Building Construction works. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring that all works are completed to the highest standards and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the site supervision team in the execution of mechanical and building construction works.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager to resolve any issues related to mechanical site inspections, contracts, and defect identification.
  • Address and respond to contractors' RFIs and technical submittals, as well as assess method statements and instrumentation readings.
  • Coordinate with other discipline engineers and liaise with the design team and QP from HQ to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably recognized by the PE Board, Singapore.
  • At least 10 years of experience in supervising mechanical works in the construction of infrastructure projects, preferably in water or used water treatment works.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage the site supervision team and communicate with clients and contractors.
