Project Manager

About The Role
The role – what is it we would like you to do?
We are seeking senior project managers with experience in data centre or high-tech projects, based in Singapore. The successful candidates will handle project management tasks for Currie & Brown’s client, including managing client relationships, delivering quality services, and assisting with financial oversight. This role requires motivated, skilled individuals with exceptional leadership abilities.
Your core duties will involve:
Working independently and collaboratively to complete project tasks
Managing projects in accordance with Currie & Brown guidelines and the PM toolkit, ensuring contractual compliance
Planning and executing construction projects from inception to completion
Preparing or assisting with site assessments, due diligence reports, cost reports, project control reports, construction reports, and completion reports
Managing internal and external stakeholders, including consultants and contractors
Overseeing design development, coordination, reviews, and approvals during planning and construction phases
Handling procurement processes, including reviewing trade tender packages
Appointing and managing contractors while maintaining integrity and probity
Administering contracts, evaluating progress claims, variations, extensions of time, and documentation
Monitoring completion activities such as commissioning, handover, take-over, and addressing defects
Developing project schedules and tracking progress against approved timelines
Controlling project costs within approved budgets
Reporting on project performance relative to schedules and budgets
Coordinating with local authorities to ensure proper approvals
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Implementing quality assurance systems to ensure high standards in design, construction, and administration
Proactively seeking opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and strengthen relationships
What skills and attributes are we looking for from you
Degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or project management
At least 15 years of project management experience
Experience in data centre or high-tech sectors
Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams
Confidence in client reporting and leading meetings
Understanding of technical services and data centre construction processes
Knowledge of statutory regulations related to data centre projects
